One product that I will be reviewing today is the InSinkErator F-HC1100SN, which is a brass hot and cold water faucet. I rather liked the InSinkErator F-HC1100SN, because it offered filtered water with temperatures ranging from cool water for drinking and water that is almost boiling. What I had trouble with, however, was that the InSinkErator is mainly designed, made and intended for use with the InSinkErator Stainless Steel Tank (SST-FLTR) in conjunction with the Chilled Water Tank (CWT-00), which are both sold separately. Even so, though I liked the product and put down the extra money for both of them. The InSinkErator allows it’s filtered water, which is able to flow at a rate of 60 cups per hour, which is something that I just thought was great. The spout, which was included with the InsinkErator, also made for quick and easy turning from left to right, which was also something that I just loved. The sink is just beautifully composed of an all brass dispenser structure. The InSinkErator also features a five-year warranty, which was a selling point for me. Another thing that I loved about the InSinkErator F-HC1100SN was the ease and effortlessness in which it is able to be quickly installed and put together. The InSinkErator’s warranty offers a, “we come to you” guarantee, meaning that if the sink falls apart, they will send someone free of charge to fix the sink.

One of the great benefits of the InSinkErator F-HC1100SN would most definitely have to be it’s easy to use hot water lever. Whenever I wanted to add that hot water to my soup, tea, or cooking pot, I simply just lowered the lever and filled it up with the boiling water that the faucet offers. This feature certainly came in handy for me, because I’m a tea drinker who likes to have 3-4 cups a day, this means no more waiting for that water to boil 10-15 minutes every time. All that is required is the lowering of a lever on the faucet and waiting for the cup to fill up. I certainly found this aspect of the faucet to be a great addition.
The InSinkErator F-HC1100SN isn’t all fun and games though, as most of the reviews for the InSinkErator are mostly complaints. And it is time to say that after having this faucet for several years the faucet just fell apart on me. Combined with my dissatisfaction I came online to only find that there really aren’t any positive reviews of this system located online. When the system broke, the person that came over to help me fix it told me that there weren’t any more parts for the device that they could let me use. He told me that if I wanted to have the faucet fixed I would have to purchase a completely new faucet all together.

InSinkErator F-HC1100SN Pros & Cons
The positive reviews of the InSinkErator F-HC1100SN include the device’s eloquent appearance, the practicality of the system’s hot water function, and the entire design of the device. The praise for this faucet doesn’t last for long though. The InSinkErator features a Satin Nickel finish, operates at 115 volts and wattage of 750. Some of the things that I did like about this faucet are its ability to save on energy costs, and my observance of the system not having any leaks and that the system also saves on water. The only customer’s review located online that was pleased with the product said that they were hesitant in purchasing the system, but when they did there ended up being absolutely nothing wrong with it and that they were glad they had bought it.
If purchasing this system, make sure you are given the 5-year warranty as well as the system’s warranty with the other two necessary components. These include the Chilled Water Tank (CWT-00), and the Stainless Steel Tank (SST-FLTR). Be sure if purchased, all of these components are always under warranty during kitchen use, because if any of these devices are purchased they are practically guaranteed to fall apart. Even with the warranty, when the sink system falls apart, if the parts are not available for replacement, the fees for another brand new faucet will be the only option. In sum, if you are interested in taking a gamble on the InSinkErator F-HC1100SN, then be sure you have money saved up for the future repairs if not future replacements of the entire system.
